📢 FAQ 📢
Last updated: 26/02/2026
1. Who can ask questions?
Undergraduate (“Licence”/Bachelor’s) and graduate (Master’s/PhD) students enrolled in Moroccan universities, regardless of their field of study.
Certainly! Although academic struggles may differ from one field to another, human struggles tend to be similar wherever.
Yes, as long as you are enrolled in a Moroccan university.
Of course. You may ask several questions in one go or ask them separately. No pressure.
2. What kind of questions can I ask?
As I have mentioned on the Home page of Unyssons, you can ask me questions about:
- Navigating academic and research opportunities abroad (internships, visiting programs, accommodation, networking, applications, etc.)
- Study strategies and academic organization
- Motivation, burnout, self-doubt
- Meaning, values, and direction in academic life
- Career orientation (within my lived experience)
- Reflecting on difficult academic relationships
I will not be able to answer the question. Out of scope questions fall under one of the following categories:
- Therapy or mental health treatment
- Crisis or emergency support
- Long-term one-to-one mentoring
- Instructions on what decision to make
- Mediation or intervention with supervisors or institutions
3. How do I submit a question?
To ask a question, go to the Q&A💬 page and submit your question through the form.
Please feel free to write as little or as much as you wish. I will read everything, God willing. If you need to provide context for me to better understand your concern or position, please do so. It will help both of us.
You may write in English, French, or Arabic/Darija. You can even mix languages if you wish, I do not mind. I will answer you in the language(s) you have chosen.
4. Privacy and editing
Yes. Unyssons is a place that brings all of us together. My wish is for students to see that many of us share similar struggles. This can help us feel less alone, and allow us to learn from each other’s experiences.
You will not be required to tell me everything – only what you choose to share yourself. Therefore, your name, gender, age, nationality, field of study, university – none of this is required for you to ask a question. If there are any details you would like me to remove before publishing — especially ones you shared to give context — please let me know (by putting them between brackets or by simply stating “please remove this part:” for example). I will do my best to follow your indications. More information on this is available in the Terms and Privacy Policy 📜 of the website.
No. That defeats the purpose of Unyssons, which I envision as a place where students can be carefree and comfortable. Furthermore, to respect the integrity of institutions and people potentially involved, I will conceal information such as names and departments for example.
5. Answers identification, editing and deleting
I normally reply once a week, on Thursdays. If you do not find an answer to your question on Thursday, please wait until the following week.
On the Q&A💬 page, directly below the form, you will find a log of question-answers. You may find your question and the answer attached to it on that log.
A question number (Q#n) will be given to you upon submitting your question through the form. You may use it to identify your question on the question-answer log.
Of course. As mentioned previously, questions will be numbered. You can simply refer to your question number and follow up. I will be more than happy to continue the conversation!
Yes. If you want me to edit/delete your question after it is published, you can email me at unyssons.ctc@outlook.com and let me know. Make sure to provide your question key (NOT your question number!) given to you upon submission so that I can verify your ownership.
▸ If you have other questions, please write to this address. I will answer you by email and potentially add your question to this FAQ.
